Compost Project

Project Description
Compost plays an important role in the management of plant health and is an economical means of conserving valuable landfill space. The University of Tennessee Experiment Station in Jackson is home to a compost demonstration site that is maintained and monitored by Master Gardener volunteers. Volunteers regularly turn the material and are needed periodically throughout the year for weekend maintenance days.
